The context
In 2021, Push Push was responsible for cleaning the Star Académie recording studios for our client, Déferlantes. The work took place in hangars at Saint-Hubert airport, on Montréal’s South Shore.
Our daily cleaning covered stages, filming spaces and artists’ rooms, including disinfection and floor washing.

Cleaning throughout the production spaces
This mandate brought commercial cleaning and janitorial services into a television production setting. Our responsibility extended across the recording studios and the spaces used by the artists.
Our work helped keep the spaces clean for the artists, invited Québec personalities and production teams who used them.
Daily cleaning of stages and filming spaces.
Cleaning of artists’ rooms.
Disinfection and floor washing.

Planning cleaning for your production or event
For a production manager, facility manager or procurement team, a useful starting point is a clear list of spaces and when each can be cleaned. Daily janitorial work and post-event cleaning can be planned as separate parts of the request.
When discussing a similar mandate, tell us:
Which stages, studios, artists’ rooms and other areas are included.
When crews can access each space around filming or event schedules.
Which surfaces need cleaning or disinfection and any restrictions around equipment.
What is needed during the event and after it ends, with one person to confirm priorities.
A team to support your site
We aim to be the right-hand team that property managers and site managers can turn to for commercial cleaning and janitorial services. Share your location, the spaces involved and your schedule so we can discuss a suitable scope of work.
