The context

Push Push Services works with CAPREIT, a multi-residential real estate investment trust, in Montréal. Our work spans daily janitorial service and a range of maintenance and one-time building needs.

For property managers, these needs often sit alongside one another: keeping shared spaces clean, preparing a unit for its next occupant and arranging work that falls outside the regular cleaning schedule.

The work we carry out

Our services for CAPREIT include:

  • Daily janitorial service and commercial cleaning.

  • Parking washing and carpet cleaning.

  • Unit and space turnovers.

  • Building repairs and maintenance.

  • Waste management and transport of items to ecocentres or between buildings.

A project at 2250 Guy Street

Push Push Services completed the cleaning of four parking levels at CAPREIT’s residential building at 2250 Guy Street in Montréal. The work combined pressure washing, cleaning with a 32-inch automatic floor scrubber and targeted treatment of engine oil stains in the parking spaces.

Recurring care and separate requests

A daily janitorial scope and a unit turnover have different requirements. In your own building, define the recurring tasks first, then identify work that needs its own schedule, approval or price.

Our role is to be a right-hand team for property managers: a contact to understand the need and coordinate the agreed work. Each request is assessed according to its scope, site conditions and available resources.

Preparing work in an occupied property

If you are planning a similar mandate, identify the spaces concerned and the conditions under which work can take place. These are useful points to establish with your provider:

  • Access windows and arrangements for occupied areas.

  • The areas or units involved and their expected readiness dates.

  • Items to move, collection locations and agreed destinations, where applicable.

  • The person who approves additional work and receives completion information.

Discuss your Montréal property

Tell us whether you need ongoing commercial cleaning and janitorial services, a turnover or another building intervention. We can discuss the tasks, responsibilities and follow-up that suit your property.
